WHAT IS THE PLEDGE?

The pledge is three paragraphs that become an individual’s commitment towards fostering solidarity and dialogue, universal rights, and social responsibility for all free from any kind of discrimination.

WHO CAN TAKE THE PLEDGE?

 

  • Individuals of the international community.

  • Leaders from intergovernmental/non-governmental organizations.

  • Faith Leaders.

  • Social and community based organizations.

 

WHAT IS THE GOAL?

 

The Stand 2016 has 3 Project Goals:

  1. To motivate youth and adults alike to commit by pledge to taking an active role in making the world a better place, while fostering resiliency of identity and uniqueness of those pledging.

  2. To highlight individuals from all over the world, their stories and lives, and how they contribute to making the world a better place.

  3. To gather the global strength (through pledges) to support the calling of a Global Leaders Symposium: Asking for a 'full board' Interfaith and intercultural commitment to adopt and advocate a new Interfaith - Intercultural Peace Declaration for the 21st Century.

 

By taking the pledge individuals will commit to becoming an active part of the change towards a better world. To:
